24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
Easy to assemble. Karen was very helpful in the ordering process. Thank you

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Does what I need it to do. Easy to take on and off as needed. Installed to '21 Outback factory bars. Easily accepted different brand awning hardware.
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
Excellent cargo toter. Used on 2 vacations last summer, Iowa to Tennessee and Iowa to Florida. Carried 72 quarts and 52 quarts coolers loaded with food and other assorted cargo. Used existing holes provided for ratchet straps, no problems. 5 adult passengers in our ‘17 F150, bed full of cargo and the toter loaded with food, carried the load well. Excellent trips!

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
Great product. Easily puts together and I was able to install on our 2016 Toyota Highlander OEM roof rails with no problems. The mounting brackets slide to make for a easy fit. Have taken it on two long road trips with zero issues last summer one to the montains and one to the beach. Was able to fit our jogging stroller on in the basket. Had some heavy rain on one trip and seen no signs of water getting into the rails as that was a concern of mine when researching the different racks. The high sides allowed for easy tie downs for the weather bag we put the stroller in. Seemed to add a little road noise with nothing in it but that is to be expected when hauling things on the roof but the wind deflector seemed to keep the noise down. Easy to put on and off with a single person able to lift it. Great product, great fit for the car. Plan on using it for some more upcoming trips.

Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 40" Wide - 165 lbs
The Yakima OffGrid medium rack arrived yesterday at about 10:30 a.m. It was fully unpacked/assembled/installed by about 11:45. etrailer did a fine job of communicating/pricing/delivering and supporting this good product. I've been using Yakima products (and others) for biking, paddling, fishing etc. for about 45 years. This rack is a serious solution to a variety of uses of a roof rack. I will be able to use it on various vehicles and for a number of applications (sports, chores, travel etc.) It has more flexibility than most racks and I can't imagine a more durable, quality design. My particular needs, being in my "Dotage", are met by the ability to remove the cross bars and fairing for an open platform, or keep them on and custom fit to a spare tire, or bike rack, kayak rack etc. The attaching mechanisms drew my attention. I put this on the car with solo and with caution using a protective mat. It is very manageable and easy to fit. These mechanisms for tightening down on the crossbars bring the added value (and cost) to folks like me that don't want to spend a lot of time and effort installing a rooftop rack. I wanted secure, solid attachment with simplicity. The OffGrid delivers! No pain killers needed after the install! This "Medium" OffGrid is more than adequate for my initial uses. The internal and external dimensions are pretty much ideal for this 2017 Sienna. A full size spare tire will fit just right. A nice fit for a canoe as well. I admit to scouring the internet and considering dozens of products from baskets to platforms and this OffGrid showed a lot of promise. Its versatility and ruggedness competes with the best designs at about half the price of many. My thoughts included the extension bracket, but the medium OffGrid really does meet most of my expectations and needs for various applications. Now, to the matter of noise. There is wind noise. However, for me, it simply blends into the symphony of white noise that comes with highway travel (and the ringing in my ears) :)......Of all the racks, bikes, canoes, kayaks ladders, lumber, etc., etc. that I have carried on car tops, the wind sounds of this carrier are negligible. The fairing is a nice, well thought out feature that works well. So, my five star rating is for both the product and the vendor. Once again "eTrailer" has proven themselves to be one of the best sources of such products nationwide. Their product information efforts are an industry leader and they deserve credit for providing extremely helpful product reviews and explanations. That's what got me to choose them on this purchase. Those of us well into our "Dotage" appreciate learning all we can!

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.
I only gave an average rating because the carrier was not easy to assemble without slight modification. The bolt holes for assembly were blocked by the steel mesh. I cut the mesh that covered several of the holes with a rotary disc cutter.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The trailer carrier has been a wonderful blessing since we purchased it. It's sturdy, strong, and easy to store. We used it initially for a trip from Oklahoma to Florida, and everything was transported safely and easily. As I recall, I think someone in Florida asked us about the carrier. We definitely told them to consider buying one. My husband did significant research before the purchase. He DEEPLY appreciates produces that are established with high quality standards. How disappointing and frustrating to buy something and to see it break or deteriorate prematurely because its components were poor and frankly cheap. Thus, the cost was quite reasonable. To date, the carrier continues to serve us. Once you purchase such an item, you may be surprised how practical and useful it truly is. I believe we used it locally when we transported and gave our close friends a refrigerator we weren’t using. We used the carrier last summer on our trip to Michigan with our two large dogs. The dogs rode comfortably with us in our SUV while the luggage rode in the carrier. Wow! Our dogs were certainly grateful for the extra space. My husband also secured two tarps on the Hitch Cargo Carrier Bag for additional protection against the rain. He used several bungie cords that were easy to apply because the carrier has so many places on which to secure the hooks. Nothing was wet or damaged. My extremely gifted and creative husband was able to relocate the license plate so that it would be visible in certain states that require license plate visibility at all times. We are both satisfied with this product. God bless you, and thank you for the one year inquiry! Keep creating products with excellent craftsmanship.
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Bought for my 2020 XC 40. I’ve taking it on several long distance hauls and it’s frees up a lot of space inside the car. I love that you can open the trunk and get items while having the carrier on. The car handles very well with is on. However I would suggest you buy a hitch stabilizer to stop rattling it make the car a carrier act as one. It folds up when not in use so nothing sticking out when not in use.
Great design and sturdy. I got two hitch pin stabilizers for hitch and folding pin and it worked awesome. I use it for storage for cab over camper and the carrier fits flush with open tailgate. Carries generator water fire wood and I use it as a step to get into the camper.

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
Roof rack arrived dented and scratched which complicated the installation because I had to hammer out dents to get the pipes to fit. Apart from that, the paint/coating scratches off fairly easily and the installation design is pretty awful. Instead of threading the pipe to accept screws they have this complicated plastic gasket mechanism which takes forever to align. I expected more from Yakima and for the price. Quick delivery from etrailer and good fit overall-- just need to wait and see about rust.
Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
3 out of 4 screw attachments linking the two sides of the roof basket together were not installed.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.
This is a substantial, well-made product at exactly the size I needed - smaller than many, and with sides that keep items secure. It was very easy to assemble, with all parts included and clearly sorted, and with all pieces manufactured to cleanly align. The item arrived promptly, packed to protect the shipment but without waste. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a high-quality cargo carrier.

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.
We were very happy with our Thule roof rack. The low profile design works well and does not have too much wind noise compared to others I’ve had. It’s held up very well also through the seasons.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Very durable basket, and fairly easy to install. It's definitely transformed the look and practicality of our little SUV.
I've had this roof basked for a year now, and it has done very well for us so far. I mount this to my 2023 Subaru Outback XT Onyx Edition for when we take family trips that require more gear than will fit in the cargo area. It allows my son to remain comfortable in the back seat (he's a sprawler with gadgets and books on long trips) while making sure that we have all the gear we need. On week-long trips to both Canaan Valley, WV and Lewes Delaware, we were able to strap our cooler and other weatherproof gear into the basket with ease. The mounting system is plenty sturdy, and the basket was able to fit a lot of cargo easily and safely. It didn't retain water in the tubes or connecting pieces after several rain storms, and I haven't seen any evidence of rust so far. I should note that I don't leave it mounted to the car 24/7 because I don't pretend to be some overland fanatic, so it lives in my furnace room (easily supported by aluminum brackets tap-conned into the cinderblock wall) when not in use. This will definitely give it a longer lifespan. I'd definitely buy one again. The size is perfect for my Outback and fits plenty of gear.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).
This was purchased off of the etrailer.com website as a "damaged" item at a significantly reduced price. The description on the website described the damage very well and the cargo box has no functional issues of any kind. Also, the cargo box arrived much earlier than I anticipated. Furthermore, when I noticed that the box arrived with the load securing straps missing I emailed etrailer customer support and they had Thule send me two new ones right away. Couldn't be more pleased with etrailer and this cargo box. It fits my 2014 Honda CRV with factory crossbars with just a little bit of rear hatch interference (restricts opening by maybe an inch or two, but can still fully use the rear hatch). Can't speak to durability quite yet as I've only used the cargo box a few times to transport skis and snowboard and plan to use it year-round for road trips. A really great, simple cargo box!

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
bought it for my husband he loves it for 2014 kia Sportage LX reddit regional rails

Rhino-Rack Roof Cargo Basket for Aero-Style Crossbars - Steel Mesh - 59" x 26"
I purchased the RHino-Rack Roof Cargo Basket for Aero-Style Crossbars 59"x26" (RRRLBH). Mounting hardware (U Bolts) were included (S280). Free shipping. Product arrived in 2 days. Basket was well protected in foam/plastic and 2 cardboard boxes. No damage at all. The basket is stout and powder coated. Strong welds at all cross points. Installation was a breeze, took about 15 minutes. I attached the basket to a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with OEM Aero bars. The U Bolts don't sit flush against the bar (i should have taken a picture), but i got it tight enough to where there's no wiggle. The basket fit my bars perfectly. I was struggling to find a basket skinny enough to fit inside the bars' "shoulders." The bottom outside width of the basket is 22" and flares slightly to 26" on top. It's 59" long. I'm very happy with the fit. I leave it installed, even empty all the time. I have not noticed any noise or reduction in mpg. I'm sure that could change once i have it loaded with cargo.
Happy with the rack--it's solid and fits my needs. More happy with the etrailer service. After etrailer notified me that the rack would take 4-5 weeks, I wrote back with a "if is not here by May x the cancel it, we are going camping and I need it". A few days later they worked some magic, emailed back with a new delivery date for the next week. That was appreciated.

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 420 lbs - Black
Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
the cargo carrier is good with the exception of the sides not closing / sealing very good. Although I followed the assembly instructions, it seems to develop gaps and leaves in weather and dust / dirt.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.
How Does the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Fit on a 2022 Toyota Tacoma?
Hi Matt with etrailer. If you have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma and you wanna get a little bit of extra space for any of that luggage or anything that is not gonna be weather resistant then the Yakima NX 16 Roof Box is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. Now, the reason why I really focus on those items that aren't gonna be weather resistant is because at the end of the day you do have a truck, you have a lot of space in your bed, but trying to put any of your luggage back there, you probably don't wanna risk anything happening to it. Like if it we inchesre to rain or snow outside 'cause that'd be a real hassle taking it out. The next option would be inside your cab.
How the Thule Motion 3 Rooftop Cargo Box Fits - 2022 Toyota Tacoma
Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Thule Motion 3 roof box on our 2022 Toyota Tacoma. What's great about a roof box is it's gonna do a great job at protecting your gear from any elements. And a situation you're probably gonna run into is if you're planning on taking a family trip, you're probably gonna have your cab maxed out so you're gonna need somewhere to place your luggage. Now you do have your bed, which is okay, but if your luggage is gonna be sensitive to the elements, that's not gonna be the great place to put it. The next best place to put it is gonna be in a roof box. And what's great about the one we have today is there's gonna be plenty of space in it.
Yakima EXO System Cargo Carrier and Enclosed Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Toyota Tacoma
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're gonna take a look at the Yakima EXO System set up with the GearWarrior and GearLocker on our 2022 Toyota Tacoma. So, the EXO System is awesome because it allows you to customize your setup for whatever you're doing. In this particular configuration, we have it for more of a cargo setup where we have the GearLocker at the bottom and the GearWarrior cargo basket on the top. What that does for you, it's gonna allow you to increase the amount of cargo you can carry with you when you're going out on your adventures. So, you know, with the Tacoma, it's the shorter bed, so you don't have a lot of space. So, it's a easy way to add additional storage area for your trip.

Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket Review - 2021 Toyota Tacoma

So you have your Toyota Tacoma, and you're ready for adventure. Especially in our case here, where we have Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack, as well as some bikes on there. So if you want to maximize your ladder rack, but still be able to carry that cargo, and have space inside of your truck bed. That's where the Yakima SkinnyWarrior comes in handy. It's a Skinny Warrior, so it's a little bit more compact, compared to your other cargo baskets, allowing you to fully utilize the space, for a lot more adventures and a lot more fun.
Yakima DeepSpace 10 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Toyota Tacoma
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima DeepSpace 10 ladder rack cargo box right here on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving.
Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Toyota Tacoma
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. So it has two different sizes, 18 cubic feet or 16 cubic feet. We'll take a look at the large one, which is the 18, right here, on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. So this is a rooftop cargo box, but as you can see, we have it here on our ladder rack, on our Toyota Tacoma. So this is the Yakima OverHaul HD, and we have the extra large HD bars. So I was really curious about, was it gonna fit on our ladder rack How much space do we have around it Will it fit around our larger bars So we're gonna take a look in this test fit at the answers to all those questions and just see how it works and interacts with other things on there too.
etrailer Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2020 Toyota Tacoma
Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline 00:00:00 from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our etrailer large cargo basket on our 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Now, what's great about this cargo basket is if you need to free up some space from your truck bed, you can throw it up into your cargo basket. It's pretty easy to install. The way it's installed is to protect your truck all the way as well as it's super adaptable to whatever you need. It comes apart into three different pieces, which you can switch in and out just so that you can have the best day possible. Let's take a look at all the other different features it has. With the cargo basket on our truck, you have to remember that you have some excess height added to your truck roof. From the top of our bars here to the top of the rack is nine inches.
Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2020 Toyota Tacoma
Hi it's Evangeline from etrailer.com, and today you are looking at the Yakima off-grid cargo basket on our 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Now what's great about getting a cargo basket like this is that if you want to maximize your space in your truck bed, you can store things inside there, as well as outside of it. This also works on roof racks. We don't have a roof rack on our truck right now. So it's attached to our Yakima bedrock HD racks, which sits more low-profile, but it works just as well on other factory racks. So we have this here on our Tacoma, and as you can see, I like this size because I can also attach mount things on our rack here beside the cargo basket, because this cargo basket has dimensions outside of 40 by 44.
Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2019 Toyota Tacoma
John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com and today we have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. We're test fitting the Yakima OffGrid cargo basket. This has a 165-pound weight capacity and it's a great way to add some more cargo space to your pickup. It has an overall length of 44 inches and an overall width of 40 inches, but internally you're adding here about 39 inches by about 38 inches worth of cargo area. You do have the integrated crossbars here you can kind of move front and back and the back end here is open. With it in this position I want to go ahead and give you a quick measurement about how far it sticks out from the side of the truck. That's about 32" or so from the edge of the truck here.
